Firinn: hi folks...look who jumped out of the cake!!...I've
got our favorite celeb on the line here (oh, sorry, better say it's NOT
Harrison Ford...)... PaulJ's decided to stop by for about 30 minutes for
a little cozy Q&A...whoever's here can have their way with him.
This is not set up with a second monitor, so I'll try to get everyone's
questions answered for you. Please don't respond to THIS post until after
Paul gets in the door with HIS...OK? Have fun (all of you.)
------
Paul J: Happy anniversary. And happy Easter to all the
Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox folks.
------
Firinn: don't be shy folks...Just to break the ice a little
here, tell us Paul about this upcoming CBS movie "Last Dance" with Maureen
O'Hara...
------
Paul J: An old Latin teacher who feels she has outlived
her usefulness befriends her nurse (Eric Stolz). She recants her
life story and lost love: a man she briefly married and was tragically
killed.(Moi). My role is the flashback sequences throughout the film
of love and loss of her husband. She never could recover from his
untimely death.
------
Sandra (from Longview): That's me shy...I wouldnt even
know what to ask. I get a little speechless around famous people. Would
you ever do a Highlander Cruise or a con like Legacy 2000?
------
PJ: More apt to try the con format. But you must know
I'm a virgin. I've never done anything like a con before. .I'm a
little terrified.
------
Laurie: Hi Paul!...Thanks so much for letting us have
this place to come to, to be able to keep up with your projects and support
your career. love & hugs...
------
Pj: I think its a great site too. I'm very proud of all
the work put in. I'm also proud of the awesome charity contributions we've
been able to make.SO thank you! Love & hugs back!
-------
Dinah: Hey Paul, thanks for joining us!...I have a “Raven”
question I’d like to ask: You said that you didn’t want Nick to become
immortal. Now, when the writers/producers decided to make him immortal,
was it already clear that there wouldn’t be a second season? And when you
look back, do you think that it was a good measure to make Nick immortal
as a conclusion to the series (regardless if it had been continued or not)
?
-----
Pj: We actually shot two different endings. One where
I recover and the other where I become immortal. I kinda liked the
immortal ending. I didn't agree with the direction if the show continued,
but I admired the last episode storyline. It was bold. I think
Rysher had already decided to drop its participation in the show. The object
at that point was to find a U.S. distributer and the ratings didn't attract
anyone to come up to the plate. I argued early on against making Nick immortal,
but that's old news to Y'all.
------
Dinah: What's the difference (or the advantage)...of playing
a more positive or negative character for you?
------
PJ: Austin in the Lonesome Dove Outlaw Years was a helluva
lot more interesting than the first season Austin. It really depends on
the characters arch. Or his journey. A bad or negative character
who finds redemption. Or a good character who becomes deranged. I think
its not where you start but where you finish.
-----
angeleyes: SO Paul was it fun being baked in that cake??
-----
PJ: Gooey yucky fat free batter. All egg whites and no
yoke!
-------
Kate of Clan DotD: Hi Paul....Firinn said you'd received
my gift...I hope you like it. =) also looking forward to the Nashville
Film Festival.. See you there!
------
PJ: I was a little taken aback by the gesture. It must
have taken a lot of work. It is much appreciated.I haven't put it in a
glass case yet. I think it's in a good spot in my office on the wall
though. Thanks again.
------
Laurie: Paul...Would you mind if I ask you what your favorite
drink is? Alcoholic or otherwise? Thanks!
------
Pj: I love cranberry juice (no kidney or bladder reasons,
kids). I love ice cold cranberry juice. Um o.k. I also tend to add
a little stoli after eight pm on the weekends.
------
EmmyZ: Hi Paul...Congrats on the one year birthday of
OPJFC!! We've had a blast - hope you have, too!! Looking forward to all
your newest projects - keep us informed.
------
PJ: Emmy you said it.I can't wait for year two.

Firinn: PAULJ'S GOTTA GO FOLKS!!...THANKS Paul...
